Pillows and Still Not Done Renovating

October has turned out to be a totally CRAZY and hectic month. L and I have been out of the country for most of it, visiting 5 fairs in 3 different countries in the last week alone! Unfortunately, things are not getting better for either of us. (L, you and your family are in our prayers!) And I have completely lost my voice and have called in sick today.

But the workaholic nut in me came out this morning and I decided to get out of bed and take out all the throw pillows I have collected during our travels. I needed to see if I had to purchase more. 😉

We are far from over with our home renovations, it’s getting embarrassing already! Please excuse the photos, we are far from done and I don’t have the time (nor energy) to hang up paintings and display other decor!

Stripes and Missoni-esque pillows are fabric from the Kamuning market. Look for Lola T. (0947-4376539) She will sew the pillowcases and assemble the filling for under 200 pesos total! The small silk pillow in front is from Artisan d’ Angkor in Cambodia. Eeeps! I forgot to pull off that tag! Sorry!

Sorry, bedsheets are crumbled from use! Wamsutta bed sheets was a pasalubong from my brother from the States, black and white body pillow is from Town & Home Linens from SM Department store, chevron and geometrical orange ones are from Bungalow 300, cream and orange one is from Jim Thompson and the hand embroidered pillow in front is from Thailand.

Forgive the open switch plate on top right! Our switch plate orders from Thompson Lighting are still not in! Aaarrrgh!!! Ok, on to Little Ms. M’s pillows… Plain pink sheets set is from Wamsutta, quilt and shams from Laura Ashley, chevron and geometric patterned pillows are from Bungalow 300, silk elephant pillow is from Jim Thompson, mermaid is from Thailand and bunny is a fair trade product from Vietnam. Do you like the table lamps?! Get them at the SM Department store for 2,000 pesos each! It also comes in navy.

Little Ms. M’s newly reupholstered accent chair! The chair was originally from her dad’s boyhood room. L found this Ikat fabric in one of those basement shops in SM Megamall, and the hand embroidered bird throw pillow is from Thailand

Sigh. This room needs tons of work. Forgive the blah-ness…. The sheet set is from Canadian Home in SM Department store. It is currently discounted at 50% off! Bad luck for me and got them at full price before they went on sale!! Does anyone have ideas on how I can give this some oomph?!

This needs major work too. This is really blah. Yellow stripe pillow was made by Lola T in Kamuning. She supplied the fabric too. Let’s see if I have the energy to put up paintings and bring some life to my boys room.

Wish me luck!
