Last week we spent way more time than we anticipated checking out Katre’s stellar line up of bags at their Shangri-la Plaza Mall branch. We’ve been hearing amazing things about the brand from a lot of our friends who we see toting around their gorgeous hand crafted leather bags. Established in 2009, this Filipino brand epitomizes easy luxury with an emphasis on superior quality. With the rise of conscious consumption and the fewer but better movement, Katre’s classic, beautifully made pieces are exactly the type that you will buy now and love for years to come. We scoured the store for our favorites and narrowed it down to these 5 must-haves:
- The Mini Picadilly
Sleek, lady like with a twist, the Mini Picadilly can easily transition from work to weekend. The structured silhouette keeps the look formal and office appropriate while the adjustable straps transform it into a chic sling or cross over bag.
2. The Mini Mini Boite
Simple yet statement making, the Mini Mini Boîte is a fun addition to any wardrobe. The unexpected shape, bold color and versatile size perfectly mix a feminine aesthetic with playful details.
3. Jewelry Organizer
We’re constantly traveling and its nice to have a special place to store our accessories at the end of each day. The thoughtful compartments, smooth satin lining and beautiful leather and hardware combo make this piece a great gift options as well. And as with all of Katre’s products, this one can be monogrammed!
4. The Bumbag
Touted as THE MUST HAVE BAG for 2019, the belt bag or in Katre’s case, the Bumbag is every busy woman’s dream. Its cool, chic and can be worn in a multitude of ways. Forget your preconceived notions about the fanny pack, the 2019 version is sleek, sexy and will be your best travel companion! We’ll share more in the next few weeks!
5. The Camden Market Tote
I don’t think I can sing enough praises for this bag. I’ve been using this go anywhere, bring everything bag for two weeks straight and I’m not going to stop anytime soon. Yes, I love it that much! In fact, Anne of Stylist Of Sorts and I did a little test drive of it a few weeks back to see how it fares with my crazy scheduled. Read all about it here.
