Leave a commentOur beds are probably the most used piece of furniture in our homes. It is only but fitting that we invest in them and buy the best ones we can afford. After all, we spend a 3rd of our lives in them. Here are some tips to make them cozy, lovely and just plain awesome.
1) “SET” THE STAGE.
A good rule of thumb is to have 3 sets of sheets for every bed in your home. Why? This allows you to have one set in the laundry, one set in use and the other one as a reserve.
2) ” LIVE IN LAYERS”
Having multiple layers on your bed adds both style and comfort.
Tip: After securing your fitted sheet, lay your flat sheet then a quilt or coverlet. Next, fold the top quarter of your coverlet and flat sheet down.
3) “HAVE FUN. MIX AND MATCH YOUR PRINTS”
Mixing textures and patterns brings warmth and character to your bed.
4) “PILLOW TALK” Pillows are not only essential for a good night’s sleep but also for creating a cozy bed. Layer yours from back to front.Tip: For King sized beds use 3 layers– Pillows in pillow cases at the back, Euro Shams in the middle and decorative pillows in front.
